I’ve been riding motorbikes for 16 years and I can tell you that once you’ve done it for a while, it gets into your blood and it becomes a part of your life. I would always go for a leather motorcycle jacket over a denim one as its simple has superior protection. A denim jacket may cause chafing around the wrists and neck and does not provide as good of protection from the environment especially if you happen to hit the pavement.

Windbreakers won’t do, as they’re thin and flimsy, and don’t stand up to wind at speed. Besides, as a fashion statement, they’re contradictory to the rugged nature of a biker.
